Meet the Board: April

We are very lucky to work with some incredible community members on our Board of Directors, such as April Huggins.

April Huggins is a local florist and a Grant Beach neighbor. She has lived in the Grant Beach neighborhood for over 10 years. She watched all stages of the Fairbanks transformation. Four years ago she joined what was then known as the Northwest Project.

She has been a faithful participant in weekly programming and coaching since the start of the program.
April has an associate’s degree in graphic design and a passion for art. As a current RISE member April gives voice to participants’ views while serving on the Drew Lewis Foundation’s board.
